To lead a small HR Operations team to provide professional high standards of support for the entire employee lifecycle within the HR function and for our employees across EMEA (UK, France, Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium and Germany). 

  • You will have accountability day to day for leading the HR Assistants in the Operations team, ensuring support is provided within the service level agreements and to a high standard
  • You will act as first level support for the HR Assistants in HR and Payroll matters and support with queries for the wider Team as necessary
  • You will build ER knowledge in the Operations team to enable first line support from the HRA’s
  • You will drive continuous improvement in everything we do with a strong focus on processes and compliance
  • You will drive consistency in ways of working and ensure high standards of operational HR support
  • You will assist the HR Operations Manager to build the capabilities and strengths of the HR Operations Team, responsible for the performance and development of your own team within that
  • You will work collaboratively with the Payroll Lead to ensure efficiency and alignment between the different areas of our team
  • You will partner with the HR Operations Manager and wider HR team in the delivery of HR projects (e.g. pay review support)
  • You will be responsible for the HR systems and data – leading on data integrity in the system and ensure regular audits are completed
  • You will provide management information as required
  • You will ensure all processes are documented, implemented and maintained

  • Previous experience of managing a small team in either a shared service or administrative environment
  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Ability to work under pressure balancing day to day priorities with project work
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Previous experience of with dealing with employee relations cases
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to flex approach to audience
  • Able to bring across “best practice” from a similar environment would be an advantage
  • Able to build positive working relationships at all levels to ensure the HR department is seen as approachable, responsive, supportive and reliable
  • Familiarity with HR and Payroll systems
  • Languages would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of EMEA legislation
