THE GIG:

 

To write and develop all brand and product marketing messaging and copy to drive consistancy in the brand tone of voice for the relevant audience.

 

 

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART:

 

You will partner key functions including the Central Marketing Team (Brand Comms, PR & Events, Social etc) eCommerce and Merchandising to write copy in line with the brands tone of voice, on time and to the required brief 

 

Provide creative input to generate new concepts for copy/campaign content

Build effective relationships with all key functions/stakeholders in order to provide a proactive copywriting service

 

Write ad hoc copy and creative content as required by the marketing team and wider business

You will be responsible for the Brand Comms and Retail Marketing content of the following:

  • Consumer look books
  • Print materials
  • In store sign posting, POS and storytelling
  • Seasonal GTM and marketing plans

 

Responsible for the seasonal catalogues and Product Marketing Content of the following:

  • Seasonal catalogues x3 (Mainline Footwear, MIE Product and Accessories) to include seasonal overviews, product collection information and product features and benefits
  • Ad hoc category and product marketing requirements

 

Write and develop copy across a wide range of content and campaign materials such as:

  • Look Books
  • Print Materials
  • Catalogues
  • Retail Materials (POS, signposting etc)
  • Press releases
  • Digital content marketing

 

eCommerce

  • Seasonal product copy (500 SKUs per season)
  • Key seasonal product stories to be used on drmartens.com home pages and category landing pages
  • Weekly email blasts to databases
  • SEO

 

PR & Press Releases

  • Seasonal story releases
  • Press releases
  • Seasonal Look Books

 

Social Media Marketing

  • Content Marketing posts (Brand, Seasonal and Product) across all social platforms
  • Content marketing used within the Dr Martens blog

  • 5+ years Copywriting experience developed within a Fashion / Lifestyle brand or Retailer
  • Experience in communicating across a networked business (both cross function and globally)
  • Proven experience working within tight deadlines and on multiple pieces of copy
  • A degree level qualification in a relevant subject such as English or Creative Writing
  • A strong commercial awareness - preferably with exposure to a global brand
