Factory Planner - Cobbs Lane Factory


To coordinate the purchasing of footwear, clothing and Accessories with the source base to ensure best delivery and maximum efficiency in production. Communicate effectively with Global regions for top customer service.

·You will Work within a team of 4 to manage and coordinate all orders placed to the factories according to the purchasing calendar.

·You will plan the purchase orders in accordance to the capacity plan, by month, by construction to ensure maximum efficiency for customer and factory and minimum duty impact as per Global Regions.

·You will process seasonal and other samples according to the sample calendar and be responsible for assigned factory to deliver on time.

·You will manage and monitor factory acknowledgements/confirmations and update weekly factory schedules. You will work closely with the Sourcing, Country Managers, Purchasing and other internal departments as necessary. Schedules are published out to the network on a weekly basis.

·You will assist and support the Planning Manager and the team as and when required.

·You will receipt the ready to ship reports from the factories and work with shipping and other internal parties to ensure correct shipping methods are used and any pre payments or letters of credits have been received.

·You will customer service our owned Global Regions effectively, communicating with USA, Far East and EMEA countries.

·You will analyse data and create reports accordingly.

·You will keep seasonal sample shipment information for all customers up to date.

·You will focus on high performance and drive and deliver through individual team plans and liaising with external providers as required.

·You will be working to tight deadlines and must manage work load effectively.

·You will work with the China Sourcing team to understand and build on engagement to ensure the best levels of engagement and communication.

·2 years plus experience in a similar role within a manufacturing and planning discipline.

·Customer service experience desirable.

·Prioritise work load and be happy to work without close supervision and have a meticulous eye for detail.

·Think outside the box and be proactive.

·Excellent written and verbal skills. Experience of dealing with overseas supply partner’s as an advantage.

·Commercially aware with good negotiation skills.

·Be a confident communicator, resilient and adaptable, and ready to embrace and support regular and ongoing change.

·Have the confidence and credibility to take the lead and challenge or influence when necessary.

·Work on own initiative and also be capable of multitasking.

·Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel. A confident user.

·Well organised.

·Some Travel may be required between Cobbs Lane and Camden, London.
