THE GIG:

Our business is on a journey of growth which is reflected in the continued investment and expansion of our HR team. We have an exciting new role for someone passionate to join us on this journey. We are looking for someone to create a compelling Learning and Development offering to our people which will ensure we can attract, engage and retain the best talent

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART:

  • Create a learning strategy and foster a learning culture that integrates the diversity and the local learning culture across Dr Marten’s offices.
  • Create an environment which enables our people to take ownership for their own development.
  • Bring our cultural fundamentals and ways of working to life in all learning opportunities.
  • Create learning choices to suit individual needs (70:20:10 model as a benchmark).
  • Select and build relationships with external providers who are aligned with Dr. Martens and demonstrate a healthy return on investment.
  • Working closely with various leaders across the organisation and having a full understanding of their teams, business area and training requirements.
  • Build on our lunch and learn model to promote collaborative learning across the organisation.
  • Work closely with People Leads and Talent Acquisition to understand and develop our future skills requirements.
  • Support Line Managers to ensure performance discussions are regular.
  • Ensure all Learning & Development initiatives are integrated with other People initiatives to ensure a joined up People approach
  • Implement robust methods to measure the success of our learning strategies.

  • Related qualification or Professional certification is a strong advantage
