You will work with the Head of HR - EMEA to provide a first class generalist HR service to our retail population in Germany and either France, Belgium or Netherlands; delivering commercial, proactive and timely support to our Sales, Retail Field Management, Operations and Marketing teams
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART:
To be successful in this role you will have experience in working within a fast paced environment. A retail background is preferable, but essentially you must be able to demonstrate your ability to manage multiple priorities and have exceptional HR generalist skills within a European setting.
You will be the HR Lead for the full people piece for your area across Germany and another country within the EMEA region. You will understand what it takes to be a true Business Partner, and work closely with the management teams to offer strategically savvy solutions. You will be ‘on the ground’ to shape culture and engagement to support our ambitious change and growth plans.
Working closely with the HR Operations team you will implement our HR processes and be an ambassador for best practice from the outset. To do this successfully you must be familiar with employment legislation across EU territories.
Your ability to influence, guide and coach managers is second to none, and you are able to communicate to suit the style of the audience. Fluency in German is an essential requirement for this role.

Similar experience within an HR Business Partner role across all HR fields. Know what good looks like within a Retail environment
Experience of doing HR for a Germany population, along with good employment legislation knowledge. You should also have knowledge and experience of doing HR for one of the following countries: France, Belgium, Netherlands.
Great coaching skills, with the ability to support managers through any ER issues
Be a confident communicator, resilient and adaptable, and ready to embrace and support regular and ongoing change
Have the confidence and credibility to take the lead and challenge or influence when necessary
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel & PowerPoint. Working knowledge of HR Management Systems (HRMS)/data bases
Well organised with strong time management and prioritisation
Regular travel required. Your initial induction period will be predominantly spent in London
