You love connecting with people and helping them find the right job. You are able to source candidates from multiple places, maintain a strong talent pipeline and ensure every candidate is taken care of. You are a team player and excited about learning all aspects of our business in order to find the right talent to join our team.

  • Implement recruiting startegies, aligned with global recruiting to ensure a qualified and diverse candidate pool.
  • Develop engaging job postings, representative of Dr. Martens and aligned with brand standards.
  • Post all open jobs, maintaining the ATS and identifying appropriate job boards.
  • Source and screen applicants for a variety of open positions including Corporate, Retail Leadership and Distribution Center positions.
  • Ensure hiring managers and interview teams are prepared for the interview process, provide training as needed.
  • Support Regional Managers with hiring needs for new store openings.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience.
  • Onboard new employees the DM way.
  • Manage third party vendor relationships and candidate pools.
  • Focus on delivering business results and acting as a role model for others.
  • Stay informed and knowledgeable on talent trends and sourcing strategy. 
  • Partner with HR team members to share best practices, cross-train, and support one another.
  • Assist in nurturing and maintaining the DM culture.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the team and whole business.

  • At least 3 years is a professional setting, 1-2 years recruiting experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business and/ or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail, able to juggle multiple tasks, prioritizing appropriately to support our business strategy.
  • Clear communicator, in both verbal and written interactions.
  • Knowledge of sourcing strategies, creativity and enthusiasm for trying new things.
  • A willingness to jump into any task.
  • A self-starter, quick to learn new skills, and able to proactively identify new opportunities.
