Financial Analyst, APAC

THE GIG


Financial Analyst, APAC is responsible for delivering accurate financial analysis to managements of local and regional finance team.

Also support managements to achieve financial goals in a coordinated manner with other departments such as Retail, E-Commerce, Wholesale, Marketing, Operation and Finance & Accounting team.


THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports with variance analysis for management to review
  • Responsible for consolidated of reporting for the Asia Pacific region, including P&L, B/S, other financial and commercial KPIs.
  • Assist in budgets and forecasts, trend analysis of expenses, revenue and other items
  • Assist in analyse and summarise data and reports deficiencies and variances to senior management.
  • Act as a business partners to departments by providing the necessary information and recommendations for business decisions
  • Perform other ad-hoc assignments given by line manager

You’ll play a key role in our Finance Department so your technical capability will go hand in hand with the below:

  • Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines along with a professional accounting qualification with one of the main accounting bodies
  • 5+ years of experience in retail or related fields and preference to have worked in international brands
  • Understand and commercially aware in operations of various business channels such as Direct to Consumers (Brick & Mortar and Digital) and B2B (Distributors, Franchise and Wholesalers), Industry related logistic and pricing model knowledge would be an advantage
  • Ability to understand the details but also able see the bigger strategic play
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiar with the Retail Apparel and Footwear Industry
  • Hands-on, responsible, independent, self-motivated and strong analytical skills. Roll up your sleeves with a ‘can do’ attitude is expected.   • Strong people management skills, initiative to collaborate cross functionally, influence and persuade with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfortable with modelling and analytics
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
