BUSINESS ANALYST

You are naturally a strategic and analytic thinker who thrives on technology advancements and process improvements. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle of enhancement projects from defining user requirements to UAT, training, and implementation, dealing with high-level stakeholders in a business-critical, fast-moving role. 

 

This role is full-time and benefits eligible but it is also a limited duration, to help the Dr. Martens Americas team as we go through an ERP transition. The approximate duration of this role is October 2018 through July 2019.

 

THE GIG

  • Analyzing requirements, designing and implementing technical solutions to align with Business and Operational strategy
  • Reviewing current operational processes and information requirements to ensure optimum use is being made of the company's existing system facilities
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technology and developments within the Microsoft D365 space and updating the application roadmap and business stakeholders of pipeline improvements
  • Planning and managing projects to completion with both internal and external parties
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time
  • Managing and supporting a strict Change Control Policy
  • Preparing and managing quality UAT Testing involving the business
  • Providing comprehensive training and support on solutions being implemented
  • Providing end user support and troubleshooting on any issues encountered
  • Report on project progress

  • Experience as Business Analysis / Business Systems Analysis
  • Experience in business process modeling/business process engineering
  • End to end project life-cycle and project management experience with ERP experience desirable
  • Strong IT Background
  • Proven ability of managing change within an organization
  • Experience in Logistics, e-Commerce, and retail desirable
  • Experience in Microsoft technologies including Dynamics AX desirable
  • Logical thinker with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Innovative, creative and forward thinking
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Team player but also able to self-manage
