Every year, we’re proud to open the doors to our famous Cobbs Lane factory to the successful applicants of our Apprenticeship Programme to learn the skills and processes involved in making our iconic footwear, all while earning a wage..

This is a 15 month hands-on apprenticeship where you will be working in the factory from day one. After completing you’ll have the qualifications necessary to be a footwear operative within the factory. The most important requirements are that you are friendly, have a can-do attitude, are eager to learn and improve and, above all else, have a passion for making things.

PAY AND PERKS

The pay for the apprenticeship is significantly higher than for most equivalent apprenticeships. Upon joining, everyone at Dr. Martens is greeted with a free welcome pair of shoes/boots, a significant discount on products, and healthcare and pension benefits.
