The birthplace of our iconic 1460 boot and today a hub of fine craftsmanship, our Cobbs Lane factory has been rolling our footwear off the production line for almost 60 years, using a unique welting process which has set our product aside from the crowd for over half a century. Today we are still making the 1460 in Cobbs lane, alongside the famous ‘Made in England‘ line, as well as numerous collaborations. Skilled production teams within Lasting, Clicking, Closing and the Shoe room are pivotal in continuing the legacy of our most well known products.
