As our DC Assistant Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll be part of the Global Logistics team working closely with brilliant people across the business, including colleagues in Rosendaal DC. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.
WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE
This role plays a pivotal part in supporting quality assurance processes within EU distribution center operations, ensuring compliance with global standards and safeguarding product integrity. This role enables consumer centricity by maintaining service levels and reducing defects, while driving operational excellence through inspections, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with internal teams. It focuses on executing quality checks, monitoring trends, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Perform quality inspections on inbound and outbound shipments to ensure compliance with DM standards.
- Maintain accurate records of checks and corrective actions for audit readiness.
- Monitor defect trends and escalate recurring issues to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Assist in implementing quality SOPs and training within the DC.
- Collaborate with logistics and planning teams to resolve quality-related delays.
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance DC quality performance.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
- Familiarity with AQL standard and good knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements
- Preferably with a background in the footwear/fashion industry in a retail/e-commerce environment
- Robust qualitative, analytical and communication skills
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and time management
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English; able to convey complex information clearly and effectively to the team and stakeholders
- Proficient in MS office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented with ability to identify and resolve defects quickly.
- Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and quality reporting tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical mindset for root cause analysis and trend monitoring.
- Commitment to consumer-first service and compliance excellence.
