Social Media Creative

THE GIG


The role sits in the Global Creative Studio based in our Camden HQ. This team is positioned within the Global Brand Creative department and is the central hub for globally led social media initiatives and global social media community management.


Reporting to the Global Head Of Brand Creative and responding to briefs from the Global Digital Marketing Team, with a close working relationship between Global Social Content Lead to respond to briefs, pitch ideas and deliver. Working both independently or with the support of in-house creative, studio or external agency teams.


Working closely with the Global Brand Creative team to translate their global creative direction through all social and digital media content.


As our Social Content Creator, you will be responsible for:

  • Content planning in collaboration with other members of the Global Digital Marketing and Brand Marketing teams
  • Concept ideation in response to briefs through storyboarding and scamps where relevant.
  • Creating content that meets business objectives and innovates on social to reach new audiences, with product led social ideas.
  • Identify and apply insights, supplied by Global Community Lead to create relevant social media experiences. Considering the user journey in ideation
  • Engaging the wider creative, brand and digital teams
  • Working alongside an internal Producer or external production partners to plan and execute social content shoots
  • Attend brand campaign and product marketing shoots to capture social-specific content
  • Videography / film editing, photography and including graphic design
  • Take existing brand assets and edit for use on social platforms, ie IG stories, IG reels, TikTok
  • Provide guidelines, direction and support for regionally produced social and digital assets, alongside the social content lead'
  • Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to deliver content that brings to life the brand, its values and key campaigns

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:

  • Extensive knowledge of leading social media trends and techniques and an interest in creative innovation across key channels including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
  • Finger on the pulse of emerging platforms and design trends
  • A strong commercial portfolio demonstrating proven experience of multi-media social content creation for a global brand
  • Excellent understanding of and genuine interest in fashion and consumer brands, music, arts and global youth culture, particularly Gen Z.
  • Highly skilled videographer, including post production/editing and motion graphics. Photography experience advantageous
  • Highly proficient in Adobe CC, specifically Premier Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • A strong team player who is flexible and willing to help others but can also work independently to complete tasks.
  • Highly organised, ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects at a time.
  • Strategic creative - ability to present ideas back based on direction given by senior creative stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to sell in ideas and engage different audiences.
