Paid Social Executive

THE GIG

Dr. Martens is looking for a highly passionate, talented individual to join our Performance Marketing team. We are looking for a Paid Social & Content Executive who will play a key role in planning, executing, and optimizing paid social campaigns while also being hands-on with content creation. This role requires a mix of performance marketing expertise and creative flair to develop engaging, high-performing ad creatives geared for success on different social platforms. The ideal candidate should stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and viral content formats, proactively creating engaging, trend-driven ad creatives that resonate with our target audience and drive performance. You will be working closely with our wider Digital & Marketing teams, to drive demand, brand/product heat, traffic and key metrics for the DM websites within the EMEA region.

  • The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of how to leverage TikTok for brand building, creating content that not only drives performance but also enhances brand awareness and engagement through authentic, trend-led storytelling.
  • Work closely with our Paid Social Manager and the wider Paid Social team to execute ad builds across our channels, including but not limited to Meta & TikTok.
  • Ideate, film and edit engaging paid social content, including static ads, videos, and UGC-style creatives.
  • Stay ahead of social trends to create timely and relevant content that resonates with target audiences, whilst being mindful of trade needs and key metrics.
  • Collaborate with our Digital Content & Trade teams on seasonal digital marketing campaigns to deliver trading messages across the different marketing channels. You will be responsible for the briefing of creative assets & copy.
  • Be curious – you will be responsible for conducting agile testing for our Paid Social channel. Be it audience, creative, feed testing – we want to constantly learn and improve our campaigns.
  • Monitor campaigns through an analytical lens, to create actionable insights that drive site performance.
  • You’ll be a proud custodian to our DM’s culture, embodying what we stand for and encouraging others to do the same.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

  • At least 1 year experience in Paid Media and/or content creation, either in-house or agency side
  • Hands on mentality with experience building ads across Social platforms
  • Experience building ads on TikTok essential, other platforms (such as Meta) desirable
  • Digital first mindset, with confidence in reporting results back to wider stakeholders
  • Action-oriented attitude – we work in an agile way, which means we often need to pivot
  • Sound problem solving skills with ability to quickly process information and find potential solutions
  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work across multiple departments
  • Self-starter who is keen to learn and test new platforms/ campaigns
  • Fluent in English – other European languages beneficial
