You are a proven Operations Leader with a track record of rolling up your sleeves and embracing hard work, thinking critically and asking the right questions. You have managed a high-pressure distribution network with a focus on hitting monthly, quarterly and annual shipping targets. You know how to separate facts from assumptions as well as how to determine what is relevant in the decision-making process. Aside from numbers and data, you are someone who deeply believes in the power of people to fuel our growth. THE GIG
- Build and maintain a logistics infrastructure to manage omni-channel growth in the Americas region in line with the 5 year strategic plan
- Build and strengthen the distribution organization to ensure a well-motivated proficient team, able to handle the growth of DM’s in the region.
- Build and manage effective relationships with our 3rd Party Logistics partners (3PL’s) to optimise the value of the contracts.
- Agree, implement and monitor Key performance Indicators (KPI’s) with internal customers and 3PL’s
- Responsible for prioritising, escalating and mitigating business risks associated with logistics operational capabilities in the region.
- Accountability for operational performance against agreed KPI’s for all distribution sites.
- Manage relationships with internal business partners and channel heads and engage in all logistics and distribution topics related to servicing their business.
- Improve processes by innovating and sharing best practices across DC’s while consistently meeting or exceeding operational cost targets.
- Own and deliver on cross-functional strategic and tactical projects and programs.
- Collect and communicate knowledge and best practice sharing into the global logistics organisation.
- Support the global logistics leadership team and program/project managers on relevant global and regional business initiatives
- Manage the Rewair operational processes through our repair partners in the Americas.
- Responsible and accountable for all returns processes in the DCs, driving continuous improvement in all aspects.
- Robust cost management (cost per pair) in all distribution aspects, identifying opportunities to save / avoid / rationalise cost throughout the network.
- Manage the America’s recycling partners, striving to push towards global recycling and sustainability targets.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
- Five years or more of progressive experience in a senior management function within operations.
- Strong 3PL contract management, with demonstrable experience in the retail sector preferred.
- Proven record of making well-informed decisions in both routine and emergency situations.
- Commercially astute and meticulous with an eye for detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Change oriented and actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
- Proven ability to work both in teams and autonomously in a high-pressure environment.
- Professional interpersonal and communications skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work at a standard computer set up for 40+ hours per week with or without accommodations.
- Domestic and potential international travel totaling 20% of the time.

PAY DETAILS
- $180,000 per year.
