  • Representation: Representing the team in data quality-related project meetings, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Data Warehouse Management: Establishing the data warehouse as a trusted and reliable source of business insight.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Designing and implementing comprehensive data validation strategies, including profiling, cleansing, and transformation, to address data quality issues.
  • Collaboration and Improvement: Collaborating with data engineering teams, conducting audits, performing root cause analysis, and recommending innovative solutions to enhance data quality practices.

Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:

  • Data Management Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data querying, and understanding of data structures, relational databases, and modelling concepts.
  • Data Quality Expertise: Strong grasp of data quality concepts, methodologies, and best practices, with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues effectively.
  • Tool Proficiency: Hands-on experience with tools like Snowflake, Airflow, or DBT, and familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
