Finance Business Partner - Wholesale & Distributors (B2B) EMEA

Reporting into the Head of Finance, the role of the B2B Finance Business partner is to work as part of the EMEA Sales Leadership team (SLT), and collaboratively with Sales Operations, Supply and Demand, DC Operations and Credit control teams to create, continuously evaluate and coordinate a strategic plan which is operationally achievable. Working with Sales, you will ensure a robust orderbook and, working with Supply and Demand, ensure stock is available to fulfil the orderbook. A strong partnership with Operations and credit control will ensure there is DC capacity and credit limit to throughput goods to customers, and a close understanding of sell thru will help partner with Sales to understand risk/opportunity from cancellations, rephases and immediates.


  • The ability to manage large volumes of information and translate this into a strategic plan.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, concisely and with gravitas to senior leaders, articulating risks and opportunities, and providing a solutions focused attitude to risk mitigation.
  • Attention to detail, producing accurate information for month end reporting, Audit purposes and budget/forecasts.
  • Ensuring presentations are clear to the required audience, with the commercial messaging and financial implications are both equally clear.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure close communication and coordination of all teams needed to ship the orderbook; leading and managing actions between these groups.
  • Managing credit risk against commercial requirement, working with the credit control function to provide a forwarding looking view of credit limit requirements.

  • Qualified accountant, or have appropriate background in a similar role, and are an experienced business partner, speaking ‘finance for non-finance’ in a way your stakeholders can relate to. Previous experience partnering with B2B channels is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in working in a Global, multichannel business with an understanding of how different channels contribute to the business
  • Ability to build credibility with wide range stakeholders across the region in order to quickly and accurately work cross functionally
  • Understand the detail and ensure accuracy, but also be able to summarise at an management level
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise, working in a matrix organisation
  • Great excel and Powerpoint skills, previous experience using D365 is desirable
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
