Group Reporting Accountant

SO, WHAT’S THE STORY?

The Group Reporting Accountant will work within the Group Financial Control team reporting to the Group Reporting Manager and assist in the delivery of all financial reporting and consolidation.

THE GIG

As our Group Reporting Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Production of varying elements of the Group’s consolidated monthly, half-year, and full-year financial reporting, including Group P&L, Regional P&Ls, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Management Accounts, consolidation journals, and IFRS segmental reporting requirements.
  • Preparing supporting evidence and disclosure notes for statutory financial statements, managing audit deliverables, and responding to auditor queries for Group and subsidiary accounts.
  • Assisting with technical accounting processes including IFRS 16 lease accounting, IFRS 2 share-based payment workings, and maintaining the Group’s consolidation system (OneStream), ensuring accurate reporting and developing new reports and tools.
  • Reviewing and evaluating Regional team submissions, supporting the month-end close process, and collaborating with other Group Finance teams (FP&A, Tax, Investor Relations, etc.) to consolidate, analyse, and report accurate, timely results.
  • Supporting the delivery of a robust financial control framework, coordinating reporting to established standards, and contributing to other internal/external reporting and project initiatives as required.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:

  • ACA qualified with 0–2 years PQE, ideally with experience in large organisations and strong, up-to-date IFRS knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills, with a disciplined, high-quality approach to work production and documentation.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the initiative to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience with OneStream and D365 is beneficial but not essential.
