The role is expected to manage Dr. Martens Japan logistic inbound operations from Ex-factory through to Good Receipt to saleable inventory in Distribution Centre with Freight Forwarder and 3PL partner IN TIME to drive operational excellence.
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
· Track/manage Ex factory dates, Inbound operations Good Receipt to saleable inventory in Distribution Centre with Freight Forwarder and 3PL partner in time, including document preparations to meet target GR dates incl. import and 5% quality check with Freight Forwarder and 3PL partner.
· Arrange outbound operations to inter-companies/factories on demand.
· Provide inbound volume forecast for DC GR/capacity planning.
· Monitor/check Inbound related payments.
· Control/optimize Inbound progress with Lead-times, Freight, Duty, Other related performance/costs, and look for improvement/reduction opportunities.
· Attend KPI meetings with Freight forwarder and 3PL partner for performance review.
· Any other task assigned.

· 3-5 years’ experience of logistics / supply chain management in fashion or consumer goods business field.
· Freight forwarder, 3PL vendor management skills, online logistic experience is plus.
· Customer-oriented mindset and sense of urgency and responsibility.
· Good team player with good interpersonal/communication skills.
· Self-motivated with good analytical skills.
· Fluent in written English, Fluent in oral English is plus.
· MS Excel / Word / Power point: Intermediate and above.
· Good knowledge of ERP in general – experience in MS Dynamics 365 (AX) is an advantage.
