EU Outbound Transport Manager - Netherlands

SO, WHAT’S THE STORY?

Our European Logistics team is on a journey of transformation. With the growing complexity of cross-border logistics and rising customer expectations, we’re evolving how we move product across the continent. This role will be key in shaping how we deliver to our retail, wholesale, and e-commerce customers—on time, every time, and in true DM style.


THE GIG

This is a pivotal role in our European Logistics team, where you’ll take ownership of outbound transport operations across the region. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our products move from distribution centres to customers—retail, wholesale, and e-commerce—efficiently, reliably, and in line with our brand promise.


As our EU Outbound Transport Manager you will be responsible for:

· Managing outbound shipments across Europe to retail, wholesale, and e-commerce customers.

· Leading and developing a small team based in our Netherlands Distribution Centre.

· Building strong relationships with carriers and 3PLs, negotiating rates and resolving service issues.

· Using transport management systems to plan and track deliveries and drive continuous improvement.

· Ensuring compliance with cross-border regulations and maintain accurate transport documentation.


THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:

· A strong background in outbound transport operations, ideally within apparel, footwear, or 3PL environments.

· Experience managing European distribution networks and navigating cross-border logistics.

· Proficiency in transport management systems (TMS) and a data-driven approach to performance.

· Fluency in English and Dutch, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently across teams and regions.

· The ability to lead under pressure, especially during seasonal peaks, and collaborate effectively across teams.

· Lead: set individual performance and development goals linked to our business strategy. Maintaining motivation, supporting others and embodying our purpose and values.

· Connect: contributes to positive team energy by valuing diverse perspectives, promoting open dialogue, and building strong relationships within and beyond the team.
